Patrick started his training 16 months ago and suffered from lower back pain. The pain stemmed from a muscle imbalance in his lower body and this prevented him from playing sports such as football and tennis. Patrick’s goals were to improve his upper and lower body strength, increase cardiac output and to fix his lower back pain.
Within our PT sessions we’ve looked to improve Patricks mobility and his lower back pain was a result of tight hip flexors and hamstrings. As well as increasing mobility Patrick has lost 3” off his hips and 4” off his waist allowing him to fit into clothes that he found were tight.
This was achieved through a combination of resistance training, conditioning and fitness work, and most importantly a calorie deficit.
Patrick can now play sports that he enjoys without lower back pain and has significantly improved his mobility.
